Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ethio American LLC ("Company") governing your access to and use of the Elvantis platform, website, and associated services. Read these Terms carefully before using the platform. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the platform.
To use the Elvantis platform, you must be at least 18 years of age, a legal resident or citizen of a jurisdiction where the services are available, and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during account registration and to update that information as necessary to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Ethio American LLC reserves the right to decline account applications, suspend accounts, or terminate access at its discretion in accordance with applicable law and compliance requirements. Services are not available in all states. Availability in your jurisdiction is subject to applicable state and federal regulations.
All accounts are subject to mandatory KYC identity verification before exchange functionality is enabled. This requirement exists because Ethio American LLC operates as a registered Money Services Business under the Bank Secrecy Act (31 U.S.C. 5311 et seq.) and is required by federal law to implement a Customer Identification Program.
You agree to submit accurate identity documentation when requested. Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent documentation is a violation of these Terms and may constitute a federal offense under 18 U.S.C. 1001. Accounts found to have submitted false information will be terminated immediately and the matter may be referred to law enforcement.
Enhanced due diligence may be required for certain account activity levels or in response to compliance monitoring. You agree to cooperate with such requests as a condition of continued platform access.
The Elvantis platform provides cryptocurrency exchange services and non-custodial wallet software. The exchange allows users to buy, sell, and convert supported digital assets. The wallet software allows users to store and manage digital assets with private keys held on the user's own device.
The platform does not provide investment advice, financial planning services, tax advice, or legal advice. Nothing on the platform constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any digital asset. Users are solely responsible for their trading decisions.
Service availability, supported assets, and transaction limits may change at any time without prior notice. Ethio American LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the platform at its discretion. The Company will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes affecting their accounts.
Scheduled maintenance and technical issues may result in temporary unavailability. The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform.
Risk Acknowledgment: Cryptocurrency involves substantial risk of loss. Digital asset values are highly volatile. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Accounts are not FDIC insured and are not bank guaranteed. By using the platform, you acknowledge these risks and accept sole responsibility for your trading decisions.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, fraud, or any activity that violates the Bank Secrecy Act, the USA PATRIOT Act, or any other applicable federal or state law. You agree not to attempt to circumvent compliance controls, provide false information, or engage in transactions designed to evade reporting requirements.
Violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account termination, potential reporting to relevant authorities, and may result in civil or criminal liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ethio American LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses resulting from cryptocurrency price volatility, technical failures, unauthorized account access, or regulatory actions.
The Company's total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Ethio American LLC in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ethio American LLC and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in Dallas, Texas, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Ethio American LLC.
Ethio American LLC may amend these Terms at any time by posting updated Terms on the platform. The updated Terms become effective upon posting. Continued use of the platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered account holders through the email address on file.

All applicable fees are disclosed on the transaction confirmation screen prior to authorization. By confirming a transaction, you agree to pay the disclosed fees. The fee schedule is also available on the Legal and Compliance page of the platform.
Completed blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Once a transaction is submitted to a blockchain network, it cannot be recalled or reversed by Elvantis. You are responsible for verifying all transaction details before authorization.
If you believe an error has occurred in connection with a transaction, contact info@elvantis.org within 60 days of the transaction date. Include your account identifier, the transaction reference, the date, and a description of the error. The Company will investigate and respond in accordance with applicable law.
